Describe a family member, you say?
My dad’s pretty awesome; he works basically three jobs, but not because we’re poor. It’s because he wants to, and because people besides us need his help. I’m pretty proud of him.
But honestly, my mom is probably the most amazing person I’ve ever met. (Sorry Dad.)
She runs at least three businesses, aside from her basic daily duties as a mother (which she also completely goes above and beyond in, in my opinion). She’s a landscape architect and has people from all over town ask for her help; she makes beautiful jewelry and sells it online; and she has her own bakery that she gets up early every Thursday morning to manage, delivering boxes of deliciousness to local businesses.
She is a literal wonder woman. She is a paradigm of wisdom in my life; she has brought four children into the world, and a fifth waits for her in heaven; she guides and councils those around her, encouraging them as they struggle through rough times; she plans and host huge events and pulls them off flawlessly; she can run three miles without falling to bits even after months free of exercise.
She is everything I want to be. Even at 40 she is beautiful, and will only continue to grow wiser, kinder, stronger, and more lovely as the years march onward. She is Mom.
She is wonderful.
